Issue: When logging into HowNow, users may encounter a combination of the following errors:
Error: "Waiting for connection to cloud storage server"
Error: "Failed to connect all cloud storage folders. Please check with your network provider to ensure Port 445 is open. Some files will be inaccessible until fixed."
Error: “MoveCopyFile Error 53 – The network path was not found…”
Errors during HowNow initialization:
Error when adding in documents to HowNow:
Cause: A recent update to Bitdefender antivirus has resulted in its firewall blocking Hownow connections.
Workaround/Resolution: Temporarily disabling the Bitdefender firewall for a brief moment and restarting Hownow should resolve this issue. For a long-term solution, refer the client to their IT department to configure their antivirus to allow Hownow traffic.
