Issue: When attempting to connect to a list of Xero files within a Smart Workpaper, one specific Xero file fails to appear.
Cause: There seems to be a potential issue with Xero's API, resulting in the inability to locate this particular file.
Resolution: After completing standard troubleshooting, including add-in checks and attempts to disconnect and reconnect with the Xero connection, the following steps have proven effective when the usual methods fail.
1- Temporary User Invitation: Invite another user briefly as an advisor to the file. Disconnect the Smart Workpaper connection and reconnect using the newly added user. If successful in locating the file, disconnect and revert to your original login. This should refresh access to the file.
2- Company Name Adjustment: Temporarily change the company name in Xero. Save the changes and then revert to the original name before disconnecting from the Xero connection. Log out of Xero in your browser, and upon reconnecting the Xero connection, it tends to refresh access to the file.
