Problem

Users may encounter issues when reviewing binders in Business Fitness, such as:

- Locked cells

- Non-functioning hyperlinks

- Inability to edit or interact with the spreadsheet

These problems often occur because the Excel sheets within the binder are protected.

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps to unprotect the Excel sheets:

1. Open the Excel file from the binder.

2. Navigate to the "Review" tab on the Excel ribbon.

3. Click on "Unprotect Sheet."

4. If prompted for a password, simply press OK (no password should be set).

After unprotecting the sheet, you should be able to review and interact with the binder without any issues.

Important Notes

- This process may need to be repeated for each protected sheet in the workbook.

- Remember that unprotecting sheets may allow unintended changes. Exercise caution when editing.

- If you need to protect the sheet again after reviewing, you can do so by going to the "Review" tab and selecting "Protect Sheet."

Troubleshooting

If you're still experiencing issues after unprotecting the sheet:

1. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access and edit the binder.

2. Check if the binder's status in Active is set to "In Progress." Only statuses marked as "Completed" should cause a soft lock.

3. If you encounter error messages when trying to edit cells (even after unprotecting), double-check that all sheets in the workbook are unprotected.
