Issue: When clients are working on Smart Workpaper (SWP) in Excel, on the Index page, if they change the status of a workpaper, the 'Status Updated By' column does not prefill with any information. Additionally, changing the status within the relevant worksheet does not update the 'Status Updated By' field on the Index page. A "Reference Isn't Valid" error may also be seen in this case.
Cause: The SWP Add-in is not functioning correctly.
Workaround/Resolution: Please try this checklist to resolve the error:
Uninstall and reinstall the SWP add-in.
Ensure the Add-in components are active in Excel Options > Add-ins page.
Ensure the user has appropriate licensing and access to SWP from Central.
Confirm that the user is logged into the add-in.
Ensure that the login for SWP coincides with the login for their Excel.
Make sure any conflicting add-ins are disabled or turned off
