Issue:

This error occurs when you don't have the right permissions or aren't assigned to the correct office in Workpapers.


​Error Message:

"You are not authorised to perform that action. Sorry, your user account does not have appropriate permissions to perform that action. Contact your firm administrator to acquire access."

Steps to Resolve:

  1. Check the Office Location:

    • The file you're trying to access may be linked to a different office.

    • Contact your admin to confirm where the file is stored.

  2. Update Your Office Assignment:

    • Ask your admin to:

      • Move the file to your current office.

      • Or, add you to the office where the file is located.

  3. Verify Permissions:

    • Ensure your role (e.g., Manager, Reviewer) has the right access.

  4. Log Out and Back In:

    • After changes, log out and log back in to apply updates.
