Overview:

This guide helps resolve the "You are not authorised to access this data" error followed by the "Unhandled Exception: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source" error encountered during data loading in Active Ledger & Reporting. Reconnecting Xero is the main solution for resolving both issues.

Error Message Sequence:

1. First Error Message:

"You are not authorised to access this data. If you believe this is incorrect, please try logging out and back in to ensure that your access permissions are up to date. If the issue persists, please contact the system administrator for further assistance."

2. Follow-Up Error Message:

"Unhandled Exception: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source."

Steps to Resolve the Issues:

1. Reconnect Xero:

- Open Active Ledger & Reporting.

- Navigate to the integration settings where Xero is connected.

- Disconnect Xero from the application.

- Wait a few minutes to ensure the disconnection is processed.

- Reconnect Xero by following the prompts to authorize and establish the connection. Use the following URL to reconnect Xero: [Xero Reconnection]

2. Log Out and Log Back In:

- Log out of the application completely.

- Wait a few moments, then log back in with the credentials.

- Attempt to load the data again.

3. Check Access Permissions:

- Ensure the user account has the necessary permissions to access the data.

- Verify with the system administrator that the access permissions are correctly set.

4. Retry Data Loading:

- After performing the above steps, try loading the data again and monitor for any error messages.
