If you're seeing the error message "Document title '[GUID]' not found" when trying to link or open a document in HowNow, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: Verify Document Availability

  • Ensure that the document still exists in HowNow. If the document has been deleted or moved, this error will occur.

    • Navigate to HowNow and manually search for the document.

Step 2: Check Your HowNow Version

  • Make sure you're using HowNow version 10.2.1.534 or later, as older versions may cause compatibility issues.

    • You can check your version in the "About" section of HowNow.

Step 3: Re-Link the Document

  • Unlink and then re-link the document by following these steps:

    1. Click "Add Record."

    2. Select "Add from HowNow X."

    3. Search for the client and document.

    4. Link the document again.

Step 4: Check Integration Settings

  • Verify that the HowNow X integration is correctly set up in the Active Admin Centre:

    • Ensure that the binder link settings are configured properly.
