Issue: When uploading a custom Workpaper as a record template and inserting it into a starter file, some inserted objects from the custom template, such as checkboxes, may fail to display properly.

​Resolution:

Start by checking standard troubleshooting steps, such as verifying the Excel add-in and Excel version.


If the problem persists, adjust this Excel setting:

  1. Go to Excel > File > Options > Advanced.

  2. Under Cut, Copy, and Paste, enable 'Cut, copy, and sort inserted objects with their parent cells'.


This will ensure that inserted objects, like checklists, display correctly when adding the custom workpapers to the starter file.
