Issue: Clients may encounter one of the following errors when opening a workbook or inserting a new workpaper in a binder:
'An error occurred while running optimisation. This must be likely due to incorrect formula.'
'There was an internal error while processing the request.'
Cause: These errors indicate that the add-in is struggling to complete tasks, such as creating a named range for a sheet or prefilling data into a sheet.
Resolution:
The issue may occur if there are too many named ranges in the file or if there are conflicting named ranges that show #REF errors (values that refer to non-existent cells).
To troubleshoot:
Try basic troubleshooting steps, such as refreshing the add-in, deleting and reinserting the workpaper, or optimizing performance.
If the issue persists, delete any named ranges with #REF errors in the "Refers To" or "Value" column.
Break any external connections in the Excel file.
If the problem continues, try opening the binder on a different computer to see if the issue remains.
