When sending emails from Outlook, the email is not filed to HowNow.
Check the following:
Check that the email is in the registry
Is the email is in the temporary location?
- %appdata%\businessfitness\HOWNOW TEMP FILES
Does the filing wizard display in HowNow?
Check that there is a version number for the Email Manager
From Outlook, go to File and click HowNow, About HowNow Email Manager
Office 2010 - Outlook Manifest file
Users of Office 2010 experiencing problems opening or saving emails to HowNow may be missing some dependencies in the Outlook Manifest file. To fix this, you will need to update the Outlook Manifest file.
.NET Framework
Windows 8/10
NET Framework 4.5 is enabled by default in Windows 8 and Windows 10 [Windows 10 comes with .NET 4.5 framework available] - check that it is enabled
Windows 7
Check whether .NET Framework > 4.5.2 is installed
There are three ways to determine what version of .Net Framework are installed:
- from the Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP
Ensure to click to expand the version installed - ie v4 > Full
- from Windows explorer: %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\
- from the Command prompt : dir %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework /AD

Other Solutions:
Uninstall the Add-Ins from Program Files
Update the UNC file path within the registry and on the destop shortcut [or any other HowNow.exe icons]
Reinstall the Add-ins
