If you wish to check out and check in a binder, follow these steps:
1- Enable Firm Setting: (to allow checking out/in)
- Go to Admin Centre > Workpapers Admin > Firm Details [or visit this link: https://workpapers.businessfitness.com.au/admin/manage-firm/firm-details]
- Scroll down, tick 'Allow excel binder checkout,' and press save and close.
- Wait 2 minutes for the sync to complete.**
**You may need to log out and log back in after 2 minutes for the changes to take effect.
2- Check Out a Binder:
- Open the binder you wish to check out.
- Click the 'Checkout' option in the dropdown menu beside the 'Open in Excel' dropdown option at the top right.
This will remove the binder from the Active platform/SharePoint and download it to your local computer. The 'Open in Excel' option will now change to 'Check in'.
3- Check In a Binder:
- Ensure the copy of the binder you are checking in has the most recent data and is saved locally on your computer.
- Open the same binder, and you will see a 'Check in' option at the top right.
- Click 'Check in' and browse for the correct file you wish to upload to the Active platform.
Once you've checked in your file successfully, all other users can use the version you have uploaded.
