Downloading & Installing HowNow X
To install HowNow X on your computer, click the download button below and run the HowNowInstaller.exe file. When the installation has completed, double-click on the HowNow icon on your desktop and log in with your credentials.

Setting Up Your Account
Once your HowNow administrator invites you to HowNow, you will receive your invitation from Business Fitness via email. Clicking on 'Register Account' will take you to the Business Fitness Identity site to setup your user credentials and two-factor authentication (2FA).
It is highly recommended to store your email and password details in a password manager such as Bitwarden or Keeper to protect your personal and Company data.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Setup
After entering your name and password, the next page will prompt you to setup 2FA with your mobile device using either the QR code or the key provided. If you don't already have an authenticator app on your phone, it's recommended to use either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. If your firm uses a password manager that includes two-factor authentication, this should be used instead.
Make sure to copy your recovery codes and paste them into a secure app (e.g. Bitwarden or Keeper). Once done, click Get Started to complete the process, then open HowNow using the desktop shortcut after installing it with the instructions above. Simply login using the details you just set up, and you'll be logged in to use HowNow X.
Setting Up SMS Recovery
If desired, you are able to setup SMS Recovery upon login as a backup option for your 2FA login. After login, the following form will appear to guide you through the process. If you do not wish to do this, simply click Don't ask me again and you won't be prompted again. This can be set up at a later date through Business Fitness Identity if desired.
Once you enter your number and request a code, enter the verification code received via SMS on your phone, or Resend verification code if required, then click Verify.
After initial setup, after you have entered your email address and password, the SMS Code option will be available at the bottom of the blue login box next time you login.
Updating Your Personal Details
HowNow users can update their own personal details (including name, email, password, and 2FA settings) via the Personal Details area through File > Info > Manage Account. Alternatively, you can navigate directly to the Business Fitness Profile settings by clicking here.
