How to troubleshoot ITA/ICA data not populating with the correct data

To assist users in troubleshooting ITA/ICA incorrectly populating.

Updated yesterday

Issue

For instances where the BAS and/or Wages sheets import data correctly from the ATO, but the ICA/ITA sheets do not populate with the correct data, please check the ICA/ITA information for the relevant client in the ATO portal.

Filter by the effective date for the financial year you are importing data for.

Cause

If all the transactions for your ITA/ICA have a processed date in the next financial year, they will not import for the current year in Active, as they are not considered realised until the following year. Our ATO import is currently based on Processed Date.

Additionally, by default, we only import data from Branch #1 for ICA and ITA worksheets. If the ATO has dissolved Branch #1 for ICA and ITA for this client, ICA/ITA data will not import. We are working on providing users with more flexibility to choose a different branch number for ICA and ITA worksheets in the near future.
